Compressor Products International Names New Vice President of Global Operations

HOUSTON, Texas (April 7, 2014)– Compressor Products International (CPI), a leading manufacturer of reciprocating compressor systems and components for the oil and gas industry, announces that Chad Moore has been hired as vice president of global operations.
In line with CPI’s renewed commitment to operational excellence, Moore has been tasked with establishing an optimized supply chain and developing a standardized manufacturing system on a global scale to better support customers.
“CPI’s products and services are heavily relied upon throughout the world’s petrochemical refining and processing facilities,” says Moore. “I’m ready to dig into CPI’s global operations and enhance the services we offer to our customer base by improving the way we provide products.”
Moore brings extensive leadership experience from several industry-leading manufacturing companies and most recently served as the director of operations for Dematic Corporation in Grand Rapids, Mich. Prior to that, Moore spent three years with Noble International, Ltd. and six years with General Motors, where he held several high-level manufacturing positions, including global continuous improvement manager, plant manager and director of manufacturing.
Moore earned a Master of Science in mechanical engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, and a Master of Science in finance from Indiana University. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering and physics from West Virginia Wesleyan College.
